Atlanta, GA (August 25, 2009) – SEEDR is pleased to announce it has entered into a technology-share agreement with Global Tech International, Inc. (“GTI”), a Colorado based technology firm to design and commercialize global development applications to its core technologies. GTI develops advanced multi-purpose technologies and holds intellectual property rights in several unique manufacturing processes including Powder Impression Molding (“PIM”), Magnesium Encapsulation, and Molecular Metamorphosis Technology (“MMT”).

With its principle operations located in Michigan, GTI originally developed automotive sector applications. SEEDR recognized that these versatile technologies lend themselves to a wide variety of applications in global development as well. GTI technologies offer a cost effective and environmentally sustainable alternative to other manufacturing processes that use traditional less sustainable materials such as wood, metal, concrete, and fiberglass.

The first such application will utilize GTI technologies for the design and development of cold chain equipment and containers. With PIM allowing SEEDR to utilize recent advancements in materials technology, including a variety of recycled materials, more effectively, SEEDR intends to improve the insulation, durability, weight, and usability of these containers to ultimately reduce vaccine and specimen loss, reduce program costs, and strengthen global immunization systems.

Thomas Itin, Chairman & CEO of LBO Capital, stated, “Our partnership with SEEDR presents an important opportunity to add significant value to our core technologies by demonstrating their versatility, competitiveness, sustainability, and importance to developing markets. Entering this rapidly growing market with such strong collaborators is an exciting prospect for our licensing partners and shareholders.”

According to the terms of the Technology Share Agreement, SEEDR and GTI will jointly own all rights, title and ownership in invention(s) made pursuant to and under the Agreement. Having joint ownership demonstrates GTI’s commitment to apply its technologies to global development and allows SEEDR to maintain control and direction over the commercialization and accessibility of these applications. SEEDR’s mission is not only to design and develop innovative solutions for global health initiatives but SEEDR is committed to commercialize these solutions in such a way as to make them accessible to those most in need.

SEEDR has already begun work on several other projects calling for GTI technologies and looks forward to a meaningful relationship with GTI moving forward.
