The humanitarian design studio SEEDR has been advising this Spring at Georgia Tech has concluded with exciting results.

SEEDR launches its Smart Grid initiative with an invitation from the Tennenbaum Institute at Georgia Tech to participate in a two-month research and strategy development project.

SEEDR entered into a Teaming Agreement with RTI to contribute strategic product design, engineering, and business/management consulting services.

Red Cedar Technology announced its role in SEEDR’s “Reengineering Cold Chain” initiative. The Red Cedar Technology team and their HEEDS® platform enable SEEDR to organize and process exceptional complexity, and rapidly explore simulation data that help expand product possibilities and drive decision making.

SEEDR director, Michael Moreland, presented SEEDR’s founding philosophies, design methods, and selected projects at the March installment of Pecha Kucha in Atlanta.

SEEDR presented “Bridging the Relevancy Gap: An innovation-design methodology for value engineering the redesign of vaccine cold chain transport containers” at the 2010 Conference on Health & Humanitarian Logistics.
